At the Divine Liturgy in Saint Gregory of Nyssa’s Church in Kingston, Ontario, the Subdeacon Foti Cici was ordained to the Holy Diaconate.

Deacon Foti Cici was assigned to Saint Astius’ Albanian Church in Toronto, Ontario.

Priest Ronald V Poworoznik was released from his attachment at the Chapel in Johnstown, Ontario. He was assigned to be Priest-in-charge of the Mission of Saint Athanasius in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

With the blessing of Metropolitan Herman (Swaiko), at the Divine Liturgy in the Chapel of the Three Hierarchs at Saint Vladimir’s Seminary in Crestwood, New York, the Subdeacon Edward J Hewlett was ordained to the Holy Diaconate. He was attached at the Seminary Chapel.

Priest R John Polson was suspended from all functions of the Holy Priesthood. This was the result of an inter-diocesan and inter-jurisdictional misunderstanding. He was later re-instated.

The establishment of the Mission of All Saints of North America in Hamilton, Ontario was blessed.

Archpriest Andrew Morbey was released from his responsibilities as Dean of the Cathedral of the Annunciation-Saint Nicholas in Ottawa, Ontario, and from the Archdiocese of Canada. He was transferred to the omophor of Bishop Job (Osacky) of the Diocese of Chicago and the Midwest, for assignment as Rector at Saint Mary’s Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Priest John Jillions was received through Metropolitan Herman (Swaiko) from the Moscow Patriarchate in Britain. He was assigned to be Acting Dean of the Cathedral of the Annunciation-Saint Nicholas, Ottawa, Ontario.

OCTOBER

The establishment of a Mission Station in Morristown, Newfoundland, in association with the Mission in Saint John’s was blessed.

The establishment of a Mission Station in Port Hardy, British Columbia, was blessed.

NOVEMBER

Priest Rodion Luciuk, retaining his other responsibilities, was released from his responsibilities as Dean of Saskatchewan.

Archpriest Orest Olekshy was assigned to be Dean of Saskatchewan for three years.

Priest R S Kennaugh was assigned to be Dean of Manitoba for three years.
